I just registered for the 2018 52 Hike Challenge, a global movement that empowers individuals to discover the physical, mental and spiritual benefits gained by hiking once per week for the entire year. Although I easily complete 52 hikes each year, I have never committed to hiking at least 1 hike every week. Thus, for 2018, I will trek a minimum of 1 5-mile or more hike every week without repeating trails. I will post my hikes each week, sharing photos, and my AllTrails map so that others can download and try the pathways that we took.
